Overnight Oats

Overnight Oats

We eat a LOT of oats in this house. You can’t go wrong with a warm bowl of porridge creamy oats. If you add warm sautéed cinnamon apples or caramelized bananas on top and it’s basically dessert for breakfast. With this summer heat creeping in I’m trying to keep the core temperature low and these overnight oats served COLD are the ticket. Get creative with your toppings! Pictured here with quick chia strawberry jam & granola.

Shrimp Ceviche

Shrimp Ceviche

There is nothing simpler and let's talk about FRESH. I love how bright this dish is. Full of flavor, a little kick from the jalapeño and a touch of sweetness from the mango. Is there anything else you could possibly want from a dish?! I think not!

Dutch Oven Loaf

Dutch Oven Loaf

Hand to the sky, this is the easiest recipe and the results are out of this world. Crusty, bubbly and perfect for slathering with salted butter and dipping into a stew. I made stew last week for an excuse to make this bread and have something to dunk it into. With just a little planning ahead, you could have fresh baked bread that will put store-bought to shame.

DAN DAN Ramen

DAN DAN Ramen

Let me tell you, this recipe did NOT disappoint. I made it twice last weekend by request from the hungry bellies in this house so you know it’s goooood. This recipe is also one of the quickest toss-together meals I’ve ever made. Keeping this dish top of mind for when I want to keep meal time flavorful but simple.

Garlic Steak and Parm Frites

Garlic Steak and Parm Frites

Talk about a simple date-night steak and potatoes dinner. Most of our meals are consumed just like this... the #wellfedfraser gets a beautifully plated meal (straight from the "photo studio" in our dining room) and I stand over the trays of food picking with my hands. It's my favorite part of the day. I love those first bite reactions and this meal got a few "oOoOoOo's" and "oh wow". It may look simple but this dish packs some flavor.
