Santa Maria Tri-Tip

Santa Maria Tri-Tip

Tri-tip is the perfect cut of meat for feeding the family. Not only does this 4 lb slab offer us 3-4 servings (Mat eats a ton!) but because of the unique shape, when the center is cooked to medium-rare the ends are medium-well. It’s a happy-medium for serving people with different preferences on their steak temperature. The rub and mop sauce bring a ton of flavor. I also love an excuse to cover something with chimichurri, it makes this cut of beef sing!

Garlic Steak and Parm Frites

Garlic Steak and Parm Frites

Talk about a simple date-night steak and potatoes dinner. Most of our meals are consumed just like this... the #wellfedfraser gets a beautifully plated meal (straight from the "photo studio" in our dining room) and I stand over the trays of food picking with my hands. It's my favorite part of the day. I love those first bite reactions and this meal got a few "oOoOoOo's" and "oh wow". It may look simple but this dish packs some flavor.

Simple Marinated Grilled Steak Tips

Simple Marinated Grilled Steak Tips

We’re almost to the weekend and maybe you’re looking for an easy week night or something to entertain friends with this weekend...? Welp, this is one of my favorites for exactly that. Marinate it overnight and grill it up when the time is right! In our house we pretty much serve everything with white rice and a side veg. This is also great on a salad if salads are your thing. Meal prep it or prepare it for a hungry crowd, it’s sure to please.
