Turkey Burgers

Turkey Burgers

Just because something is simple doesn't mean it has to be boring and flavorless. I love me a turkey burger every now and again but I don't want just a hunk of meat between some bread. I want seasoning, flavor and a little pop and crunch of something fresh. We make the rules in our house and why buy burger buns when we have edible loafs of bread needing to be eaten? Toast up two slices of bread, slather your favorite condiment on either side and dive in!

Stuffed Peppers

Stuffed Peppers

I made these yesterday and I ate them for both lunch AND dinner. Now they’re gone and I’m a little sad because they were DAYUUMM good. I haven’t always been a stuffed pepper believer, they’re a little time consuming. The reality of it is you’re taking extra time and care to build this little edible bowl. When you’re ready to enjoy it, you’re cutting it down into a mish-mosh on your plate. What’s the point?! Well, the point is we’re in quarantine and we’ve got the extra time to slow down and stuff the dang peppers. For me, it’s that simple!

Herb Axis Steaks with Cranberry Sauce

Herb Axis Steaks with Cranberry Sauce

Mat's been hunting once and we had about 70# of axis meat to prove it! This was a little over a year ago and while most of the meat has been cooked (or gifted) I occasionally find a package in the mix of the deep freeze. Pulled up my trusty Traeger App and found myself a perfect recipe for what I had in stock. While the recipe may have called for a delicious-sounding huckleberry sauce, I'm grateful to have found a classic can of cranberry sauce in the pantry to get the job done. Nothing like some strong herbs and cranberry sauce to pair with Axis steaks, it's a match made in heaven!

PB+J Oat Balls

PB+J Oat Balls

Looking for a way to use up the bottom bag of oats? Or give new life to the last 1/3 jar of strawberry jam? This is a great way to empty out the pantry, get creative with your flavors based on what you have in stock and get your hands a little dirty. Welcome this new yet nostalgic snack to the lineup!

Honey Garlic Pork Loin Roast

Honey Garlic Pork Loin Roast

The fridge was EMPTY yesterday and it’s always so much harder to think up recipes with an empty fridge. Thankfully I have a few staple recipes hanging around for inspiration.. like this one! I am looooving pork loin roast. It’s as if a pork loin, ate another pork loin. It’s the pork loin’s big brother. I’m not messing with the little pork loin anymore, the pork loin ROAST is here to stay!
